What do you all think about how these crop circles seem to be forming in patterns around the aquifer systems made up of a specific type of rock and occuring with greatest frequency during times when the water table is lowering and drawing away from the surface?
Do you believe stonehenge was built where it was *because* that's where the circles occured or vice versa?
What about all this "new" evidence about how the authentic circles form?
Most importantly, what do you say to people who still believe they're all made by teenagers getting drunk and using wooden boards and ropes to make them? haha...
hopefully this may spark some disc-cussion

Re: So what do people think...
Sat, May 7, 2005 - 2:49 PMWow, It's been awhile since I turned my attention to this topic. I've heard that the circles usually form near bodis of water, but now that I think of it, there would have to be a body of water around to feed the crop where the circle is created. As the crops ripen during the summer seasons, it of course makes sense that the water table would drop as consumption increases and rainfall decreases. But is there another connection?
You remember that Japanese fellow that did those water experiments (has anyone tried duplicating those yet?) where the crystals changed depending upon the nature of the energy projected into it (meditation, prayer, etc). Perhaps this phenomena is related somehow.
I guess I got burnt out and skeptical for awhile. It's clear that people can hoax elaborate designs which are quite convincing and have gone to lengthy efforts to do so. More people are dismissive of this phenomena then there are those who consider it seriously. It's hard to maintain my optimistic viewpoint when little new data has been revealed about their origins.
They are certainly created by an intelligence which is extremely clever. Whether it's humans in the present, extraterrestrials, an expression of planetary consciousness or ourselves from the future... it's hard to say...
HAs any study been made attempting to link the occurences with global events? I'd like to see that comparison.
Do you have links for any of the info (water table, etc) in you post?
